As I got older, I quickly realised that diet and exercise were key to me feeling great and that they continually had to change. During menopause, our bodies go through many hormonal changes and finding the right workout for you might take some time. Strategies that worked in the past may no longer get the results we want.

Personal strength progression techniques are an excellent way to focus on your specific needs. If you feel bored by repetition or do not understand the importance of strength training through weights, then you've come to the right place.

Quick Wins!

The Quick Wins Concept is designed to answer the question “What can I do now?” to gain strength in midlife with the equipment I have around me. This video and PDF Programme copy is designed to get you moving right now. It contains a table of exercises; a guide on where to start; what to aim for as well as  12-15 min videos that detail and show the exercises. The first three are available now and they cover:

Studio Strength

For those who like the gym and perhaps already regularly train there, I offer 1-1 and 2-1 Personal training packs of guided resistance training specifically aimed at increasing muscle mass and definition as well as muscle strength. Together we will create a programme that addresses:​

  • correct lifting techniques

  • what weight to start with

  • what weight to aim for

  • effective repetitions and sets

  • boredom relief

  • fear around injuries​

Yoga Strong 

Yoga is an excellent discipline for building strength. I teach 2:1 and private yoga sessions in the home studio for those who do not like the gym or a class environment.
